Picoline Module System

• Flexible system Picoline consists of 10 different modules and platform and allows processing minimal quantity of materials (from 1 to 10 g).

• Due to this combination different technologies can be realized in mechanical powder processing (dry and wet milling, dry and wet classification, dry blending) that provides great opportunities to develop new products and process working-out.

• However product danger level and product behavior during mechanical processing can be unknown at first stages of studies, so protection of operators is required.

• The compact dimensions permit installation inside a laboratory fume hood. The platform surface is made of brushed stainless steel that is perfect for quick and easy cleaning.

• If a laminar safety hood is not enough for operator’ protection, HOSOKAWA ALPINE finds a solution – to integrate the system into an isolator cabinet.

Model description

Picoline module systems are installed into an isolator cabinet with automatic control that provides necessary operator’s protection and processes according to demands up to OEL 50 ng / сm³.
Separate machines are combined on a modular basis : from combining components (ex. Classifier head, part of body frame and motor adapter)

Based on packaged assembly of the machine on the platform, configuration of Picoline units is possible with modules. Other components such as batching device, injectors, product filters, blower unit and external sealing liquid units selected and combined depending on a machine.
