The freeze drying process has important applications in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries, and pharmaceutical freeze drying is now a standard process used to stabilize, store or increase the shelf life of drug products and other biologicals.

For either bulk format or liquid in vials, ampoules or syringes, the LYOFAST units are designed for freeze drying high value products, such as: vaccines, antibiotics, cytostatics, biologicals, hormones, active ingredients, and reactives.

LYOFAST Highlights

1. Freeze drying areas from 4 m2 to 50 m2.
2. Cylindrical or rectangular chamber with separate ice condenser.
3. Two stage reciprocating semi-hermetic, water-cooled refrigeration system.
4. Shelf cooling to -55°C and condenser cooling to -75/120°C. HFC refrigerants with direct expansion.
5. Variable shelf interdistance and integrated design with the loading system.
6. FUSION™ shelves in AISI 316L with brushed satin finish, mirror finished edges and 0.5 mm/m flatness.
7. Vertical sliding slot door.
8. Vacuum measurements with active Pirani type gauge.
