A major wet granulation issue has always been the constant replacement of filter bags, which in older generation machines can run into the dozens. Not only is this incredibly costly, but causes cleaning line stoppages, interrupted coding, and even imperfect product.
So, our ACG design engineers at Xertecs in Germany decided to explore a unique fluid bed system, featuring just one or two “shake-back” filters. This innovation makes our filters easier to handle and clean, lowers compressed-air consumption, and ensures a granulated product that is 'home and dry' every time.
