iF Gold Award for Machine Design
"Linear machine front panels and generous folding and sliding doors provide improved access to the operator's production and control areas, ensuring improved service at the individual units," said Thomas Starczewski, Managing Director of designship. In addition, scratch-resistant and durable surfaces, such as stainless steel and real glass, offer improved cleaning properties and emphasize the high quality standards of machines from Harro Höfliger. The project leading designer Thomas Koch adds: "Besides the characteristic machine design prominent light strips and specially developed system status lights communicate with the operators.” The HMI (Human Machine Interface) which can be moved along the entire machine length, always ensure safe and comfortable control of the system via touchscreen.
The new, innovative design clearly distinguishes Harro Höfliger's machines also visually from other manufacturers' products and strengthens the brand image as a supplier of innovative production solutions. Markus Höfliger is pleased with the award: "A great award and an independent confirmation that we are on the right track. Many thanks to everyone involved and the entire team Harro for this great achievement."
